URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Denver CO 255 AM MDT Sun Aug 2 2026 ...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 9 PM MDT MONDAY... * WHAT...Temperatures of 98 to 104 on Sunday and 96 to 101 on Monday. * WHERE...Fort Collins, Boulder and the western suburbs of Denver, Denver, Castle Rock, Briggsdale, and Greeley. * WHEN...From noon today to 9 PM MDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
