URGENT - FIRE WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Medford OR 1005 PM PDT Tue Aug 4 2026 ...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM TO 9 PM PDT WEDNESDAY FOR STRONG GUSTY WIND AND LOW RH FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONES 280, 282, 616, 617, 620, 621, 622, AND 623... * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. * AFFECTED AREA...In Oregon, Fire Weather zones 616, 617, 620, 621, 622, and 623, including the East Evans Creek and Castle Fires, as well as Medford, Grants Pass, Ashland, Cave Junction, Shady Cove, Roseburg, Toketee Falls, Elkton, Tiller and the Siskiyous and southern Oregon Cascades. In California...Fire weather zones 280 and 282.
