URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Medford OR 452 AM PDT Fri Aug 7 2026 ...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM PDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Hot temperatures 95 to 100 degrees with low temperatures around 55 to 60 degrees. * WHERE...Klamath, Lake, Modoc and eastern Siskiyou Counties. This includes the communities of Klamath Falls, Chemult, Chiloquin, Summer Lake, Lakeview, Alturas, Tionesta, Tennant, Macdoel and Tulelake. * WHEN...Until 11 PM PDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures will lead to a moderate risk of heat illnesses, especially for those without adequate cooling methods. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Periods of smoke could limit the ability to open windows for cooler air at night. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
