URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Denver CO 351 AM MDT Sat Aug 8 2026 ...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING TO 8 PM MDT SUNDAY... * WHAT...Hot temperatures ranging from 98 to 102 degrees. * WHERE...Denver metro, western suburbs of Denver, and portions of the Urban Corridor including Boulder. * WHEN...From 11 AM this morning to 8 PM MDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illness. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
