URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Flood Watch National Weather Service Pittsburgh PA 706 AM EDT Tue Aug 11 2026 .Repetitive rounds of precipitation through Tuesday night will raise flash flood potential. ...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING... * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of east central Ohio, including the following area, Columbiana and Pennsylvania, including the following areas, Allegheny, Beaver, Higher Elevations of Westmoreland and Westmoreland. * WHEN...Through Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Additional rainfall through Tuesday night is expected to average from 1.0 to 1.5 inches across the watch area. However, there is the potential for isolated locations to receive an additional 2 to 3 inches.
