Coastal Hazard Message National Weather Service San Diego CA 133 PM PDT Thu Aug 27 2026 ...BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM PDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Elevated surf of 3-5 feet with sets up to 7 feet expected along with dangerous rip currents and minor coastal flooding. * WHERE...San Diego County coastal areas and Orange County coastal areas, particularly along south and southwest-facing beaches. * WHEN...Through this evening. * IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. Flooding of low lying beach parking lots, boardwalks, and roads. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...High tides peak around 6.2 to 6.5 feet from 8-10 PM PDT this evening. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
