Bergen County in northeastern New Jersey... Southeastern Essex County in northeastern New Jersey... Hudson County in northeastern New Jersey... * Until 630 PM EDT. * At 511 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across portions of the warned area. Between 1 and 4 inches of rain have fallen across southern portions of the warned area. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 1.5 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
