Flood Watch National Weather Service Binghamton NY 1019 PM EDT Wed Sep 2 2026 ...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM EDT THURSDAY... * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of central New York, including the following areas, Broome, Chemung, Chenango, Cortland, Delaware, Madison, Onondaga, Otsego, Schuyler, Seneca, Southern Cayuga, Southern Oneida, Steuben, Sullivan, Tioga, Tompkins and Yates and northeast Pennsylvania, including the following areas, Bradford, Northern Wayne and Susquehanna. * WHEN...Until 8 AM EDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Several inches of rain this morning and this evening will be combined with an additional 1 to 3 inches of rain through early Thursday morning.
