Flood Watch National Weather Service Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO 416 AM CDT Wed Sep 16 2026 ...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of Kansas, including the following areas, Johnson KS, Leavenworth and Wyandotte and west central Missouri, including the following areas, Clay, Jackson and Platte. * WHEN...Until 1 PM CDT this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - 1 to 3 inches of rain has already fallen across the watch area with additional rainfall expected through this morning.
