Yavapai County in west central Arizona... * Until 445 AM MST. * At 152 AM MST, a river gauge on Granite Creek in Prescott reported a rapid rise of 4 feet from thunderstorms producing heavy rain in Granite Creek River Gauge. Between 0.5 and 0.75 inches of rain have fallen recently. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...River gauge reported. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
