Flood Watch National Weather Service Fort Worth TX 440 AM CDT Wed Sep 30 2026 ...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of North and Central Texas, mainly along and west of I-35. * WHEN...From 4 PM CDT this afternoon through Friday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Slow moving showers and storms will likely bring widespread 2 to 4 inches of rain across the watch area. Localized areas of 5 to 7 inches will be possible. - weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings.
