URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service San Diego CA 338 PM PDT Tue Oct 6 2026 ...EXTREME HEAT WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM PDT THURSDAY... * WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with high temperatures in the upper 90s to 105. Nights will be very warm with low temperatures in the mid 60s to low 70s. * WHERE...San Diego County Valleys. * WHEN...Until 8 PM PDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
