Coastal Hazard Message National Weather Service Los Angeles/Oxnard CA 612 AM PDT Thu Jul 12 2018 ...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM PDT SATURDAY... * COASTAL FLOODING...Minor coastal flooding during time of high tides. * SURF...Elevated surf of 3-6 feet, mainly on south facing beaches. * IMPACTS...Low lying parking lots near the waters edge may experience minor tidal overflow during the highest tide for the next few evenings. There will be a high risk of rip currents at area beaches for the next couple of days. * TIDES...Highest tides include 7.2 feet at 9:16 pm Thursday, and 7.1 feet at 10:03 pm Friday. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Coastal Flood Advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore.
