BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED Flash Flood Warning National Weather Service Omaha/Valley Nebraska 1111 PM CDT THU MAR 14 2019 The National Weather Service in Omaha has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for... Southwestern Dodge County in east central Nebraska... Northwestern Saunders County in east central Nebraska... * Until 715 AM CDT Friday. * At 1107 PM CDT, emergency management from North Bend reported that some water from the Platte River had moved out of the River about 3 to 4 miles west of North Bend. That was flowing eastward in far southern Dodge county. This will affect homes along the river, especially around and west of North Bend. Flash flooding could develop in other areas farther east along the river. * Some locations that could experience flooding include... North Bend, Inglewood, Morse Bluff and Fremont Lakes State Recreation Area. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
