The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 10 AM EDT this morning. * VISIBILITIES...a quarter of a mile or less at times. * TIMING...Areas of dense fog can be expected through the morning commute. Fog will gradually lift between 8 AM EDT and 10 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Poor visibilities will result in hazardous travel conditions. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Motorists should use extra caution. Slow down, use low-beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you as objects on and near roadways will be seen only at close range due to low visibilities. &&
