...A LONG DURATION WINTER STORM WILL BRING A FINAL ROUND OF SNOW
TO PORTIONS OF THE REGION THROUGH TUESDAY...
.Snow remains light and intermittent across much of the area
tonight, however broad bands of snow are beginning to take shape
over the Gulf of Maine, tracking onshore this evening. This comes
in response to a developing low pressure near the 70/40 benchmark,
which will help intensify snowfall late tonight into tomorrow as
it moves into the Gulf of Maine. The heaviest snow will likely
occur early Tuesday morning into mid-day Tuesday across central
and midcoast Maine, with greater uncertainty further southwest
including the Portland area.
