URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Billings MT 132 PM MDT Fri May 22 2020 ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO NOON MDT SUNDAY... * WHAT...Periods of snow expected above 6500 feet. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches. Heavier amounts are possible on the highest peaks. * WHERE...Absaroka/Beartooth Mountains. * WHEN...From midnight tonight to noon MDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult at times, including the Beartooth Pass vicinity. Recreation activities will be affected by wet snow, freezing temperatures and poor visibility at times. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest accumulations of snow are expected above 6500 feet on north facing slopes.
