Southern Butler County in south central Alabama... Conecuh County in south central Alabama... Covington County in south central Alabama... Southwestern Crenshaw County in south central Alabama... Escambia County in south central Alabama... South Central Monroe County in south central Alabama... North Central Baldwin County in southwestern Alabama... Northwestern Escambia County in northwestern Florida... * Until 1000 AM CDT Wednesday. * At 355 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain in southwestern and south central Alabama. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain have fallen so far today. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by Hurricane rainbands producing extremely heavy rainfall that are advancing inland SOURCE...Doppler radar. IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Andalusia, Atmore, Opp, Brewton, Evergreen, Frisco City, Stockton, McCullough, East Brewton, Uriah, McKenzie, River Falls, Castleberry, Excel, Red Level, Dozier, Repton, Heath, Gantt and Pollard.
